The CDU/FDP want to increase MwSt. to 25% after they have won the elections in September 2009!
This information was leaked: obviously CDU/FDP did’nt want this information to get out until after the election.
In other words workers, families and pensioners will be paying for the mistakes greedy bankers have made.
The alternative would be to introduce a Millionaires tax and a tax on share speculation earnings, like they have in Great Britain. 5% would create 800 Million Euro’s a year. This way the “greedy” would fund their own mistakes, instead of pushing the costs on to normal working people.
To be honest this will never happen with the current Government. They would’nt want to upset their voters!
Students have had enough, action is required. All over Germany Students from schools and universities held marches and rally’s.
Charging students to study, overfilled classrooms, not enough teachers, school buildings crumbling. These are just some of the problems facing young people today. Frau Merkel and her gang havn’t understood the basic principle that the youth of today are the future. We need specialists in this country, we don’t want to have to invite foreign experts to do the work for us. We have the knowhow but not the will to invest in the young people and the infrastructure. If we don’t get this right the repercussions will be far reaching. Germany has a reputation for delivering excellent products on time all over the world, if we don’t have the specialists to carry out the work our reputation will weaken. The products will come from the third world. Countries like India and China are becoming more specialised in producing quality engineered products. If we miss this opportunity India and China will take over the market and leave Germany standing.
When will this Government wake up!
